Recycling:

Computers electronics pose an environmental disposal problem. They contain heavy metals including lead and mercury, batteries and some valuable metals including gold and copper. You may not know that electronics because of their popularity and short life span are a significant contributor to this environmental contamination. It's time to RECYCLE!

Special Considerations in Computer Recycling:

There are several security related issues that need to be addressed before a computer is recycled. Data and Identity theft is a reality.

1. Removal of Identification. - Serial numbers. Software license numbers and identifying marks need to be removed.

2. Physical Destruction of the Hard Drive. - Erased data on hard drives can now be recovered through easily accessible low cost software. Hard drives must be physically destroyed before recycling.

Recycling Fees:
The fee for this service to our customers is per item as follows:
  • Entire Computer System = $49.50
  • Computer (CPU)= $14.50
  • Monitor = $34.50ea.
  • Keyboards and Mice = $1.45ea.
  • UPS Batteries = $5.00 per Kilo.

Services Provided:
  • Pick up the items to be recycled.
  • Remove all identification and software licensing information.
  • Physically remove and destroy the hard drive rendering it non-recoverable.
  • Package and Deliver all items to an electronics recycling centre.
  • Provide a certificate that lists the equipment that was recycled.
